Student learning is a top priority at Notre Dame.

Notre Dame Catholic School provides quality education from early childhood (3 and 4 year olds) through eighth grade. We are fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference whose accrediting practices are approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the National Catholic Education Association.

All Notre Dame teachers are state degreed and certified. Our average student to teacher ratio is 18 to 1.

Our curriculum follows the guidelines of the Diocese of St. Petersburg Office of Catholic Schools and Centers. Curriculum evaluation is developed in accordance with Diocesan-recommended seven-year cycles.

Academic content areas include reading, writing, English, science, social studies, mathematics, media/computers, health and foreign language (Spanish).

Our commitment to academic excellence has resulted in the following achievements:

  • 32 percent of fifth to eighth grades are on Honor Roll
  • Students perform 20 or more points above the national standards in all academic areas as evidenced by the results of the Iowa Test if Basic Skills (ITBS)
